Even if you move off campus the programs, facilities, and services you enjoyed on campus are still here for you; don't forget that! Visit the Student Union, eat at Lenior, exercise at the SRC or Rams Head, join a new student organization, or attend an event at Memorial Hall. Keeping those kinds of connections to your campus can really help ease a transition off campus and maintain scholastic success. Community Involvement
Staying connected to on-campus life is important, but keep in mind by moving off-campus you have an additional opportunity to connect with the vibrant community that surrounds UNC. Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and the greater Triangle area. We are home to a rich and diverse collection of arts, music, food, and cultural scene. There are also tons of ways to flex your civic duty muscles via local elections, service and volunteer agencies, and employment. Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership
If you are interesting in the events and happenings of Downtown Chapel Hill, the Downtown Partnership is a great resource. You can visit the Partnership website, and sign up for their e-newsletter. The newsletter contains information about specials, sales, and all you need to know about what's happening in Downtown Chapel Hill.
