University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offers NEW Off-Campus Housing Website & Service!

UNC-Chapel Hill has launched a new off-campus housing website and service to simplify the off-campus housing search for students, parents, faculty and staff, and area property owners and managers! The website, offcampushousing.unc.edu, includes properties for rent, as well as a roommate finder, message boards, resources section, and other features.

The UNC-Chapel Hill Off-Campus Housing Service is operated by the Off-Campus Student Life Office located in Granville Towers South, 2100 Suite. In response to requests for enhanced information about properties and roommate finder resources, the Off-Campus Student Life Office partnered with Off Campus Partners to launch the new website and service.

The new site offers a user-friendly, searchable database for off-campus students, parents, faculty and staff to find housing in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro and Durham areas. It includes photographs and floor plans; maps showing the housing location's proximity to campus; direct links to a property owner's or manager's e-mail, website and application or lease; as well as unlimited text descriptions and a list of amenities.

Other features include the roommate finder for students, enhanced search tools, and educational components designed to inform and educate UNC-Chapel Hill off-campus students, faculty, & staff.

The service is free for UNC-Chapel Hill students, parents, and faculty/staff, but property managers and owners will pay a fee to post listings.

Off Campus Partners works with 118 other colleges and universities across the United States to provide off-campus housing listings to students and campus communities.
